How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

Every homeowner who reaches out to Researchtested Windows & Siding should get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you contacted Researchtested Windows & Siding by phone or form
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that looks unclear or wrong
  • The behavior of a provider we matched you with

If the Problem Is a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own estimates, prices, work, warranties and customer service. If you have a problem with work on your home, start with the provider. Raise it with them directly. Keep a written record.

Still, tell us too. Feedback helps keep our network honest. A provider that keeps falling short of what we expect may be removed from the network. Note that Researchtested Windows & Siding cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work, handle warranty claims, or decide things for a provider.

How to File

Email contact@researchtested.world. Please include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want

After You Write

We confirm that we got your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We look into what happened. That may include asking the provider about it. Then we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

You can reply and ask us to look again. You can also reach out to your state consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For contractor issues, your state or local contractor licensing board may be able to help.
